What is a blog, if not a memoir in short chunks?

This feature is intended to boost SEO traffic to my website. I'm not fussed about that and have different intentions for it. Also, I hate the word 'blog.' I don't blog. I ramble.


Stephen King is probably my literary hero, and I love his book On Writing. It does cover his process and thoughts on the industry, but the first half is essentially a hilarious string of anecdotes from his life.


I thought to myself, I have those. I have lots of those.




Edit: I have fewer than I originally thought, but only because I realized I'm reluctant to share stories that might embarrass or hurt someone, or more personal details about family without their knowledge or permission, or even just because they're of the 'adult mishap' variety. It seems prudent to assume my family will read these.
